Hi! We’re the Johnsons…

Hi! We’re the Johnsons…

An ordinary family sharing our extraordinary family travel adventures from around the globe.

An ordinary family sharing our extraordinary family travel adventures from around the globe.

In 2016 we watched as friends packed up their lives and disappeared to travel the world with their two kids in tow. Honestly, we thought they were crazy! Then as we watched their incredible journey we realised that we were the crazy ones.

We’re not super wealthy, and we were not running away from an unhappy life. We were very happy, living in sleepy Dorset with two kids and a black lab – the stereotypical ‘perfect’ family lifestyle.

Yet something was missing.

We wanted to see the world, spend more quality time with one another rather than snatched conversations between work, school runs and endless after school activities.

Most importantly we wanted to show the kids the wider world – different cultures, environments and situations. What better way to have an education than to see it, feel it, touch it and live it?  Every single day! So here we are, 2 years later living our Adventure in the Somewhere.

Now it’s time to share our family travel adventure with you and help and support other families that may wish to do the same – it’s easier than you might think! Follow us on YouTube, Instagram and our blog where we share the tips, tricks and tools we use to make full time family travel a reality.

Escape Room Fun

A travel blog such as this one is usually filled with photos of beaches, mountains and city scapes, it's mostly about what adventures can be sought in the great outdoors especially when travelling with kids. Kids don't tend to do so well looking around an art gallery...
